This oil painting was an impromptu session with some of my friends who also love to create art. I wanted to paint something with a fairytale atmosphere, and decided that the backdrop of the famous castle used in one of my favourite disney movies 'Tangled', would be the perfect choice. The painting itself resembles the likes of Mont-Saint-Michel, an island off the coast of Normandy, France; a setting that was no doubt an inspiration for Rapunzel's home.
