Shards

$150.00Price
  • A combination of my geometric and silhouette collections, this painting reflects our ability to see the sharp dangers that come our way from the outside. However, we tend to dismiss the danger that may come from within ourselves (the shards on the hot air balloon). Self-doubt and fear may play a larger role in our decisions than we realise, and we may be completely oblivious to the impact it has on us; this is depicted by the clouds in the painting, which hide the internal thoughts that we may forget. In addition, the clouds represent the commonly used metaphor of having a 'clouded judgement'.
