An Eye for an Eye
$80.00Price
An Eye for an Eye refers to the fact that the audience viewing this image is able to imagine and see a story being told through the subject's close profile. If you look deeper at the reflection in the pupil, there are three figures in perspective; on the left there is a child who seems to be paying attention to the two other figures engaged in an acrimonious argument. This is an expression that suggests the child on the left is the owner of this eye and is watching his/her parents argue, while a tear escapes his/her face. The eye capillaries are slowly turning red as the child watches helplessly.
